kastro-hotel.grWeather & What to Pack
Late September in Heraklion is warm and settled, typically 25–28°C with plenty of sunshine. Evenings are pleasantly mild; a light jacket is occasionally useful. An occasional light shower is possible, but rain in late September is brief and infrequent; it does not define the weather.
The sea is at its warmest of the year in September and swimming is very much on the agenda. Pack a swimming suit.
For the seminar: comfortable casual clothing is appropriate. The training room is air conditioned; a light layer is advisable to have on hand.
For exploring the city and coastline before or after the seminar: light summer clothing is suitable throughout.
